Diane Small runs Mamie’s backyard garden in the Bridge-Lakepoint Neighborhood in Madison. In this 2022 interview, she shares her memories of living in Madison with her mother Mamie. Further back, she speaks of growing up in Sommerville South Carolina, eating pomegranates and pecans off the tree and learning planting from her Aunt Maggie and her grandfather.
