20 real estate agents die every year while on the job while many others are assaulted. Most people don’t realize that real estate professionals are highly targeted by criminals. Because we meet people in vacant houses, often attend open houses alone and meet people we don’t know as a course of our business, our safety is at risk daily. In 2015, Arkansas REALTOR Beverly Carter was killed while showing a house. There was an outcry for safety training at the national level all the way down to the local level. From this, September became REALTOR Safety month. Joining us on this episode is St Louis REALTOR, Safety Trainer and former police officer Janet Judd.
