Sept. 8 Game Recap -- Isotopes 9, Reno 6

The Albuquerque Isotopes kept their playoff hopes alive with a  9-6 victory over the Reno Aces. Daniel Montano's three-run home run gave the Isotopes a lead they would not relinquish. Willie MacIver, Coco Montes and Wynton Bernard provided important insurance run to ensure the win. The Isotopes ended the day four games out of first place with 14 games remaining. The Albuquerque Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
