Sermon on the Mount: Don't Worry
“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Last night we looked at what Matthew 6:25-33 says about worry, and how it doesn’t work, it reveals our faith, and it distracts you from your purpose. We were not made to carry the anxiety that we’re carrying in this life, but don’t give yourself over to worry. Worry pretends to make a difference, and often only makes things worse. Worry is choosing to believe that your problems are bigger than God is. Choose to seek God first, turn from worry and turn to the Kingdom and His righteousness. Running to anything but God for your worry will result in disappointment. What are you worried about? Don’t put your faith in your circumstances, but instead put your faith in the One who controls the outcome of your circumstances. https://www.bible.com/events/49130688 Paradigm is a weekly gathering of Kansas City college and 20s-30s young adults who desire to see Jesus made known throughout the city!
