Spiritual Conference

We consider a topical sermon on the neglected theme of Spiritual Conference. We speak of this quite neglected duty to spend time in fellowship with the brethren profiting our souls by speaking of the Lord and of heavenly matters, to meditate upon the Word with one another, and to inquire into the state of each others' souls. To the end that our hearts would be warmed with Christ, that our brethren would be edified, and we would walk as citizens of heaven, putting away sin, and living in anticipation of glory, and the Beatific Vision. Malachi 3-16-18 and Luke 24-15.
