In the previous episode we have explored the peculiar theory of the rights of nature, a theory that advocates the acknowledgment of autonomous, independent of any persons, rights of natural objects, such as trees or rivers.Today we’re going to go a step further into a more practical influence of sustainability on the development of EU law - the case for sustainable finance, an idea that recognizes that financial decisions have the potential to positively influence and shape the sustainability of businesses, economies, and thus the planet.
