Tune in as Evelyn takes us through her journey from teaching biology in the Atlanta Public school system to becoming a Science Instructional Coach for the Boston Public School system. Evelyn is passionate about educational planning and has always been an advocate for academic equity. After completing her undergraduate degree, Evelyn took a 2-year gap to become a core member of Teach for America (TFA), a national nonprofit aimed at strengthening the movement for educational equity and excellence. Evelyn’s experience with TFA influenced her decision to pursue her current aspirations where she leverages her strengths and experience as a facilitator, instructional coach, and curriculum developer.
