Testimony of Carla Comer Testimony of Carla Comer. Carla Comer was raised Catholic and attended Catholic parochial schools through High School. During high school, she suffered from depression and rebelled against God. Carla went to college, dropped out after a year, and came back home. Her mother was a devout Catholic and Rosary prayer. Carla’s mother attended charismatic prayer meetings, and Carla began to get curious about them because her mother exhibited so much joy. Carla ended up reading a book that her mother’s friend wrote, and it was precisely what Carla was experiencing. Carla became friends with the mother’s friend and was introduced to the bible, and soon she too would start attending the prayer meeting. Carla received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and her life was transformed. She finished college and had a great job. She met her future husband and had two boys. She shares her mother’s declining health and the miracles that occurred. Her favorite verse was Proverbs 3:4-6, and it carried her through some tough times, but her faith remained strong as her mother led her to the Blessed Mother, and she finally picked up that Rosary and began to see the graces unfold.
