The Brain Whisperer: Neuropsychiatry/Another Look at Psychiatry
On this episode of MedicMap we will focus on the field of neuropsychiatry. Becoming a neuropsychiatrist requires a fellowship following 5 years of residency training as a psychiatrist. While fellowships for neuropsychiatry are very common in the states, there are very few programs in Canada that offer these fellowships. There may be different ways to practice within the scope of a neuropsychiatrist without doing the fellowship, but this varies from province to province and from institutions/programs. On today's episode we have the expert, Dr. Megan Howlett, a neuropsychiatry fellow in Calgary to tell us all about a career in neuropsychiatry. Tune in to learn more about psychiatry, neuropsychiatry fellowships, CARMs matching and more.
