Born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii, he is currently a 4th degree Judo Black Belt and 2nd degree BJJ Black Belt. In Andy’s competition hay day, he medaled in tournaments all over the country. In his later stage, he founded one of the largest dojos in the country, located in Portland, OR. Currently, Andy’s brick and mortar shop, Dojo Outfitters, turns 10 years old in September 2023.
