The Hysterical History of The Trojan War Short Play Set To Take Place In Kilkee This Saturday

On Fridays Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Yarolslav Shcherbyn, who traveled from Dnipro in Eastern Ukraine to Kilkee with his mother and brother and also claimed the lead role in the upcoming production of The Hysterical History of The Trojan War. The Ukrainian community in Kilkee, in as sociation with Clare Youth Theatre, are putting on a short play at 2pm and 7pm on this Saturday the 19th of August. Yarolslav got the lead role in the upcoming production of The Hysterical History of The Trojan War. Yarolslav discussed how his living conditions have improved since we last spoke with him when he had first arrived in Ireland. He also spoke about his education and the friends he has made. Yarolslav explained that the play started off as an English lesson but eventually evolved into a short play and also highlighted his confidence in playing the main role Zeus. The short play will take place this Saturday the 19th of August, at Cultúrlann Sweeney at 2pm and the second showing is at 7pm.
