THE IMPACT OF MEDIA ON KIDS
In this video, we explore the ways in which cartoons like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Blue's Clues, and other Disney Channel shows influenced our childhoods. We discuss the positive messages about friendship, teamwork, and problem-solving that these shows taught us, as well as the potential negative impacts of excessive screen time.We also consider the ways in which the rise of technology has changed the way children consume media today. We are concerned about the amount of time that young people are spending on devices like smartphones and tablets, and we wonder what the long-term effects of this will be.Ultimately, we believe that cartoons can be a valuable tool for teaching children important life lessons. However, it is important to be mindful of the amount of time that children spend watching TV and other screens. We encourage parents to talk to their children about the media they consume and to help them develop healthy media habits.
