The Journey w/ Jacob Bowman Ep.2

During this episode Jacob talks about the details of the ceremonies that he has taken part in. He talks about the differences that each part of the ceremony have and how they work in harmony to create the work that happens after the ceremony. Jacob passes on a saying, the real ceremony starts after you return home. He adds an amazing level of storytelling to his conversations, deep and twisting. The idea that we give away energy from our own experiences, but feeling that you have to tell your story, a double-edge sword so to speak. 
Jacob’s Vision Quest consists of four ceremonies and concluding with a “Sun Dance Ceremony”. Sun Dance is an important religious ceremony of the Plains Indians of North America and, for nomadic peoples, an occasion when otherwise independent bands gathered to reaffirm their basic beliefs about the universe and the supernatural through rituals of personal and community sacrifice. Each of these culminates in a high level of spiritual bonding that alters ones path.
We will catch up with Jacob when he returns from his 3rd ceremony, at a time that is right for Jacob. Never force it, always let it happen.
