The Leaf Killer - Matthew Hoffman

Matthew Hoffman was what some would call, a loner. With a history of burglary and arson, this ex-convict would allow his desperate times and extreme obsession with trees to turn him into a mass murderer in 2010. What started as a simple burglary to Matthew turned into a gruesome murder of two women and an 11 year old boy by accident, or so that is what he says. But what doesn’t add up is why he kidnapped and SA’d a 13 year girl who saw him murder her family and took her back to his home of horrors which was completely covered with, leaves. Did Matthew truly not mean to harm this family and forever traumatize this young teen, or did his sick obsessions lead him to these horrific crimes?
