THE MARCUS TODAY MORNING MEETING – Tuesday 22nd November
The ASX 200 is tracking along nicely, up 36 points (+0.5%) to 7175. Almost all sectors are trading higher. Energy is leading the market, with coal stocks rallying hard, the coal price was up 6.62% overnight as oil continues to slip. Resources are also holding up well, despite a fall in iron ore as Chinese covid cases threaten to take off again. Lithium stocks are back and enjoying a rally today. The banks are mostly higher, the Big Bank Basket is up to $186.93 (+0.4%). CBA is within 0.7% of its all-time high. Technology is unchanged for the day. Dow Futures are up 29 points, and NASDAQ Futures are up 23 points.Anyone who has been in broking will tell you that the Morning Meeting is how all brokers start the day.
