The Tao of Desire
Many people believe the Buddha taught us that desire leads to suffer. In fact, he taught that it is our attachment to our desires that causes suffering. It's okay to want what we want. But how would life be different - and more joyful - if we could detach from the outcome of our desires, and instead remember that, as A Course in Miracles tells us, we don't know what's in our own best interest? If we can surrender our desires to the Holy, who does know what's in our own best interest, we'll find we'll always get what we need. Rev. Candace Chellew teaches us how in this Weekly Wisdom episode. You can also watch this message on our YouTube channel, where we broadcast live each Sunday morning at 11:15 a.m. Eastern time!
