There is a Spiritual Awakening Rising in West Michigan
Gen Z has a hunger for Jesus. One of the things that stand out about this generation is when they get a hold of Jesus they are all in. Fifty percent of those who have had a real encounter with Jesus are willing to consider going to the nations for their job. As leaders gathered to pray over 200 American Cities to discern where there is already a move of God happening, Grand Rapids came up as #2 on their list. Andy Byrd is part of the leadership of University of the Nations, YWAM Kona and is committed to the nations, and one of the leaders of The Send. He joins us in this episode to share how he was set free by the love of God and to share about The Send. The Send exists to gather and mobilize Gen Z into their missional calling to reach every high school, university, nation and community around the world with the gospel. The Send is happening in Grand Rapids on Saturday, September 2 from Noon-10pm at Van Andel, Arena. Also, when life is going well, we probably won't surrender to God. But when it's hard, we likely will. Shawna shares why the word “peace” means so much to her and how you can experience that peace. And Perry admits, "Busyness, and creating, and achieving, and succeeding gets in the way of my intimacy with God."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
