King Cyrus gave the people of Israel permission to return to Jerusalem.- Haggai's prophesy-- Rebuild the Temple- Resubmit to God's Leadership- Remember God's Promises- Receive and Reflect on God's Glory-2. The CALL -Hag. 1-2 - 1-15-- Self-Examination of priorities- The Israelites had misplaced priorities working on their own homes and neglecting the House of the Lord.- In verse 14 -So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel... the spirit of Joshua...and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people.--3. The COVENANT -Hag. 2-1-9-- To receive and reflect on the Glory of God, we are to REBUILD our-- Faith- Worship- Fellowship- Discipleship- Witness---The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. -And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty.- -Haggai 2-9-
