In the Old Testament days, justice came in the form of an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.’ However, Jesus turned justice upside down when He told His followers to love their enemies, do good to those who persecute them, give more than what is asked, go further than the extra mile, and love their neighbor as themselves. While it goes against human nature most of the time, this takes our surrender to God and allowing Him to work through us for it to happen on a consistent basis.
