Truth from the Great Shepherd

The truth of the Bible's wisdom literature-and by reasonable extension, the whole canon of scripture-has its origin in God. He graciously communicates it to us through the process of inspiration. The purpose of the truth so given is to guide a sinner to Christ and instruct him in obedience. This revealed word is not only useful but sufficient. No book, even the most highly-regarded Christian work, is necessary for salvation and obedience. God's word is authoritative and sufficient.
