UAW strikes in the Twin Cities area; early voting in Minnesota

United Auto Workers at two Twin Cities-area facilities walked off the job today as part of the strike against the three big U.S. car makers.<br/>And today kicks off the first day of early voting, which means Minnesotans can cast their ballots for local elections all the way up until election day November 7.<br/>All that and more in today’s evening update from MPR News.
