Kim Templeton, MD, believes that more physicians will leave the field of medicine unless something is done to address burnout and the system. Dr. Templeton is an orthopedic surgeon and professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and Health System, and is also a past chair of the AMA Women Physicians Section and a past president of the American Medical Women’s Association.
