Unveiling the Dark Side of the IT Industry - Pernilla Ramslöv, CEO and Founder NOX Consulting
Did you know that if everybody in Great Britain stopped sending the polite last “thank you”
email, a coal power plant in Great Britain could be shut down?
This part of the IT industry is rarely talked about or even acknowledged, but it is very much
real. IT has a large climate footprint, and two biggest problems of this industry are demand
for energy and hardware. One of the initiatives in Sweden that wanted to address this
escalating problem and make it more visible in the public eye is NOX's Consulting CIOCO2.
Behind the idea is Pernilla Ramslöv, not only the CEO of NOX Consulting, but also CEO of
the year for small companies, EYEntrepreneur of the Year - Female shooting star, and
Business life's most powerful female entrepreneur.
In the new episode of the Switch podcast, we talked with Pernilla about solving footprint
problems in the IT industry, as well as the future of leadership and focusing on opportunities
regarding climate questions in order to create more action.
