US Mid Terms - The most critical global elections in a decade

We take democracy and the rule of law for given.   But the survival of democracy is far from given.  That mush is evident in the state of war with Russia; the emergence Global World Disorder with competing power blocks locked in Cold War make; the emergence of populism and polarisation at home.    The Mid Term Elections in the US will tell us a lot about the future trajectory of a global rule based order or lack of it.
