#WaterWednesday: Dam building era is over

In the first of a series of ‘Water Wednesdays’ OFM Agri considers Water and Sanitation Minister, Senzo Mchunu's, recent called on all citizens and industry – including farmers, to use water resources responsibly. As part of bolstering supply, the department has also announced initiatives such as raising dam walls to increase catchment. OFM content manager, Elzette Boucher-Kruger spoke to Prof Anthony Turton, a water expert from the Centre for Environmental Management at the University of the Free State.
