What is Finished?

At first glance, the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth may appear just as another criminal to be sentenced to death by the brutal Roman empire. But for believers, for those familiar with the Scriptures, we know that this moment, that this event has been coming for thousands of years. There have been glimpses, promises, and sacred texts prophesying about this very event. Jesus has been trying to tell his followers that this is indeed why he has come, but they don't grasp it.
