It’s Wednesday of Ordinary Time, Proper 15 in the Church Calendar. August 23, 2023. Praying today for those disillusioned by politics. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing a song I worte called “When I’m Lost” and we’ll include a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 119:145-176 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 23:23-35 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here. Sign up here for the email list. Morning Prayer and Worship is a production of Steady Stream Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Thank you for giving to support this ministry. You can go here to find out more. Amen.
