اليوم ٢٤٤: نزاهة سوسنَّة. Day 244: Susanna's Righteousness

نتأمل في قصة براءة سوزانا في كتاب دانيال. بينما نحتفي بفضيلة سوزانا وحكمة دانيال ووفاء الله، نشرح أيضًا أنه مثلما كان الشيوخ الفاسقون في القصة، يمكن أن نسمح لقلوبنا أن تنحرف بسبب الأمور التي نركز عليها. القراءات لهذا اليوم هي أرميا 30، دانيال 12-13، وأمثال 16:17-20. We reflect on the story of Susanna's righteousness in the book of Daniel. While celebrating Susanna's virtue, Daniel's wisdom, and God's faithfulness, we also explain that, like the corrupt elders in the story, we too can allow our hearts to become perverted by the things we fix our eyes on. The readings are Jeremiah 30, Daniel 12-13, and Proverbs 16:17-20. I am reading using the Arabic Jesuit Catholic version from Holy Bible App which can be accessed on the app/website. You can also listen to the Bible in a Year podcast in English with Fr Mike Schmitz who did an amazing job. I am using lot of his comments in my reflection as well commentary from different trustworthy resources.
