024-2 – June-2 2023: The Final Fantasy XVI Episode, Finally
The FFWiki Podcast is the official podcast of https://finalfantasy.fandom.com, the biggest Final Fantasy Wiki on the internet – accept no substitutes. Final Fantasy XVI has been out for a week! The game we’ve been discussing for basically as long as this podcast has had an RSS feed is here, is now real. We’ve played 20 hours roughly, or if you’re BH, you’ve only played 10. However, this is a first-look, even if our opinions are mostly fully-formed at this point. **SPOILER WARNING** up to roughly the second time skip. Many things are discussed including, the snack geometry of our protagonist. Who is the Donald and Goofy to Clive’s Sora. Whether any of the five of us have gotten a Game Over once in this game. And how much fun can gameplay be that it makes up for some of the most boring sidequests ever seen in the history of humanity. This month’s FFWiki Podcast is hosted by BlueHighwind, SomeColorMage, Scathe, 8bit, and Yuanchosaan. Podcast music is “La Montana de los Caballos Jovenes” by XPRTNovice off the OC Remix Album Balance and Ruin, based on Mt. Koltz from FFVI. If you want to chat, join the FFWiki Discord.
