Ms. Little is a 75 y/o female in the hospital who is status post a right knee replacement one day prior. She has a 5 year history of osteoarthritis in her right knee with significant pain that was impacting her ability to participate in desired daily tasks. She is planning to return to a two level home with five steps to enter. Her bathroom and bedroom are located on the 2nd floor and she has a full flight of stairs to reach the 2nd floor with left ascending rail. Ms. Little has two cats at home and provides childcare for her two grandchildren three days a week. She also is very involved in the community and is part of her town’s garden club along with volunteering at the local animal shelter.
