Last week we celebrated our first homebuyer who leveraged Inheritance Fund dollars (we're very excited about this one!) During his annual Budget Address, Mayor Carter announced our plan to eliminate medical debt for low-income residents in partnership with RIP Medical debt. Saint Paul continues to build the most coordinated, comprehensive, data-driven approach to public safety the city has ever endeavored, and it appears to be working. By eliminating library late fines, making youth sports free, providing free swim lessons, and continuing our guaranteed income work, Saint Paul is showing how local government can be relevant in people's lives.
