The journey to find my worth after years of searching for things outside of myself for years hasn't been easy, but it taught me many valuable lessons, and I'm here to share it all with you. It started years ago with bulimia because I believed if I could control my weight and become thin, I would finally be worthy of attention and love. When the feelings came, I used food to self-soothe. The more I suppressed my emotions with food, the more control it had over me, and I became less connected to myself. And over time, self-hatred and rejection grew deeper and deeper. My days were filled with battles against my body and emotions I could not win. It was a vicious cycle.

Earlier this year, I transitioned to returning to my truth and self-worth by letting go of the external achievements that defined me my whole life. I knew this was not a sustainable way to live, so I decided to let go of my weight loss coaching business. I needed to step away from it all to rediscover myself and finally come back to alignment.
My purpose now is to support women in finding their worthiness from within, and you can discover it when you go internal and cultivate a more profound sense of self: self-acceptance and self-love. The freedom and fulfillment I have today are because I went internal, and this is what I want to do for you through this podcast.
In this episode on the Beyond Beauty Podcast, we discuss the following:My journey with disordered eatingSuppressing emotions and coping with foodNever feeling attractive or thin enoughHealing my mysterious health conditionSocietal pressures and beauty standardsRealizing I needed to heal from withinLearning to reconnect with my feelings and be vulnerableThe pivot into alignment with my purpose
Connect with Nik Toth:Instagram: @theleanbodycoach

Thank you so much for listening.
