2023 Estate Planning Bootcamp: The Different Fiduciary Roles
Welcome to the 2023 Wealth and Law Estate Planning Bootcamp! In this series of five episodes, Brent is joined by guests to discuss the basics of estate planning. First up, Rachel Sass chats with Brent about the different fiduciary roles within estate planning, how they work, what they do, and how they interact. You will learn about the difference between a trustee, personal representative, agent under a financial power of attorney, agent under a health care power of attorney, and guardians. Getting a handle on this different roles will then inform the discussions in the later four episodes about Wills, Revocable Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Powers of Attorney. Rachel is a Vice President and Trust Advisor in the Tucson office at Northern Trust. Rachel is a member of the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council, the Morris K. Udall Inn of Court, and State Bar of Arizona. Rachel is a former Miss Arizona United States and enjoys serving her community. She is a graduate of the Greater Tucson Leadership LEAD program, Class of 2021, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Roots & Roads Community Hospice Foundation.
