22: Jesse Leimer on doing more than 50% and how to support a partner who struggles with their mental health
Omg Erin’s best friend, co-parent, stable ground, baby diaper changer husband joins us!!! Who is Jesse Leimer?! J doesn’t hold back when Erin asks if she’s a micro-manager and Erin puts HK in the hot seat to settle a marital dispute (rude). It’s a real, live breakdown of how the Leimer-Hall household divides chores and maintains routine with two full-time working parents. No seriously, they hash it out live about who does what (ahem, who cleans a bathroom properly). Jesse gets vulnerable as he shares his experience through E’s postpartum depression and when he knew sh*t was going to be hard. Haley describes Jesse based on what she knows about him and we all talk about maintaining an identity outside of parenting, mainly how different that looks for Jesse than for the gals. This ep is like a beautiful gorgeous kind gentle marital counseling sesh but if Erin and Jesse were the therapists. Don’t doubt their genuine kindness and grace for each other, it’s for real and almost ever present. Queue it up Cuties, you’ll love this one!Honourable Mentions: Submit a Q-TeaMaslow's Hierarchy of NeedsWhere to find us:<br />@stupidcuteclub@notyouraverageerin@haleykraghGet even more:Join our newsletter
