23.24 The Rock at Horeb (Part 1)
In today's episode, Craig and LaDonna begin looking at some character studies of men and women in the Bible who gave us clear examples of how to live in both God honoring obedience and self-defeating disobedience, and the blessings and consequences that accompanied those kinds of decisions. Some are so consequential that they literally shape the future of many generations of a nation and affected so many people in the process. The Smith's first study is in the life of the great deliverer, Moses. Never was another man so powerfully used by God as he led Israel out of 400 years of bondage, slavery and torturous living. By the end of this multi-episode teaching on the life of Moses, you'll find that ultimately, there is wonderful redemption in God's salvation plan. Moses... ferocious at times, and fickle at others. Which do we best identify with? Let's listen and learn...
