23.27 A Special Visit with Dr. Vern Charette and Randy Jackson (Part 1)

What do you do when you are in the presence of two significant and blessed brothers in Christ at a conference you all are invited to minister at?  You break out the podcast recorder and spend some time visiting about ministry, the conference you are at, the upcoming busy travel schedules of all, and just enjoy being in each other's presence!  That's right, Craig and LaDonna were blessed to join Dr. Vern Charette and Randy Jackson at the On Eagles' Wings summer training conference, Warrior Leadership Summit, where well over five hundred Indigenous young adults from all over North America were once again gathered for five days of spiritual support and encouragement.  In this important break from our Old Testament character studies, Craig, LaDonna, Brother Vern and Randy have an awesome time sharing their experiences from this important conference that helps launch the On Eagles' Wings Summer of Hope evangelism tour.  With Randy and Brother Vern just joining the ministry team last year and this year, it's been a new experience for them both.  You'll be encouraged by their assessment of the future of the North American Indigenous evangelical church because of the On Eagles' Wings ministry and this training conference specifically.  These leaders then shared with Craig and LaDonna their summer ministry schedule, leading up to all of them joining together again near the headwaters of the Mississippi River at the upcoming Lake Itasca Family Music Festival, August 4,5, & 6.  This year's event will have a special Native emphasis as Randy and Evangeline Jackson and their Living Stone Band  will be one of the headlining groups and Dr. Charette will be teaching a workshop on Saturday and preaching at the main stage on Sunday morning.  Some great Native food like Pastor Craig's Killer Wild Rice  and some amazing Indian Tacos and fry bread will be some of the food offered at this. year's festival.  This encouraging visit with the Smiths, Randy and Brother Vern will take us through the next few weeks of the Indigenous Faith podcast.  These will be episodes you won't want to miss!  Thank you for joining us once again on the Indigenous Faith Podcast!  Enjoy the visit!
