Our trio starts their first day at school as new third-years and get to try two new subjects right away - Divination with the mysterious Professor Trelawney who sees the Grim in Harry's tea leaves, and Care of Magical Creatures with their friend and beast enthusiast Hagrid. In his lesson, Gryffindors and Slytherins learn about Hippogriffs but Malfoy doesn't take it serious and ends up getting hurt by Buckbeak.
