#8 Future of the Arbeitsmarkt - Innovation, Trends and Challenges
In this episode we want to look towards the future of the German labor market or “Arbeitsmarkt”: How is the German labor market developing and which jobs will be in demand in the future? To answer these questions, we invited two guests. Prof. Dr. Florian Kunze has held the Chair of Organizational Behavior at the Department of Politics and Management at the University of Konstanz since July 2014 and is the director of the Future of Work Lab in Konstanz. His research focuses on the digitization of the workplace - especially home-office and mobile work, managing demographic change and diversity in public and private organizations, and designing effective leadership. Theresa Freitas Monteiro is a DAAD alumna from Portugal. She came to Germany in 2018 and finished her PhD at the Humboldt University in Berlin in 2023. She also worked at the Institute for Employment Research (Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung - IAB) from the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit - BA) as a Doctoral Researcher and is now starting her postdoc in Economics at the University of Copenhagen.
