A Live Conversation with Tawanda Jones about Her Brother Tyrone West
Tawanda Jones, host of her own podcast, West Wednesdays, joined Life After the Impact, to discuss the fight for Justice for her brother Tyrone West who was killed by Baltimore police on July 18, 2013. Tyrone West died in police custody after officers pulled him over on Kelway Road. None of the officers involved in the incident were charged. Ten years later, his family is still seeking justice for his death. Tawanda has hosted West Wednesdays every week since Tyrone’s death. The family is actively working to get Tyrone West’s case re-opened and investigated again.
