ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips comments from ACC Kickoff; Louisville football head coach Jeff Brohm, and RB Jawhar Jordan; Tony DeAngelo is back with the Hurricanes
The Drive with Tim Donnelly is live in Charlotte for day one of the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff. Tim and producer Dennis Cox discuss what ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips had to say as he addressed the current state of the conference. Phillips hit on various topics such as NIL needing guardrails, the conference revenue gap, and more. Louisville football head coach Jeff Brohm joined Tim to discuss the changes around the Louisville football program and the fans' desire to see Louisville athletics succeed. He also shared what it's like for him personally to come back to coach the program he once played for and the pressure that comes with it. Louisville running back Jawhar Jordan also joined the program to discuss the current culture of the program. Also, Yesterday it was announced that the Carolina Hurricanes have signed defenseman Tony DeAngelo to a one-year deal, bringing him back to the roster for a second time in three seasons. The deal will pay the 27-year-old player $1,675 million.
