In conversation with Moipone Jwayi from the Free State Rural Women Assembly Agroecological Hub about the role that food gardens play in addressing food insecurity in the country. Jwayi is one of the owners of a women owned food garden in the Free State, called ‘The Free State Rural Women Assembly Agroecological Hub’ that was established in 2017 and is run by a group of 19 women who are tirelessly fighting hunger in their community.
