Aldersley Women’s Over 55s Walking Football Festival Podcast Part 2 of 2

Mr Podcast whilst having a cold, still manages to make it to the Aldersley Women’s Over 55s Walking Football Festival and interview the following 10 players, managers & fans: Denise from Birmingham and Haslingden fan Vicky Squires coach, referee and Braunton FC player Amanda who is helping with the recreational matches refereeing and coaching Lisa from Hartshill Strollers following a match Carol Watts from Hartshill Strollers Jay Adams from Hartshill Strollers Mel Benson from Braunton who is involved in setting up the event today Carol Phillips who is playing Walking Football for the first time Terri who played for the blues team and manager of Mid Devon Ladies & Over 60s South West Representatives  Joy O’Neill playing for the All Stars This is not a club run event. It is an event run by two avid women walkers who want as many older women to be able to access and play the beautiful game of football. The festival proved to be a fantastic opportunity for both existing club teams, individual players joining up to make All Star teams, and complete newbies to the sport, to enjoy an afternoon of Walking Football (even when the rain made it's intermittent visits).
