Auxiliary Support: Jayce Chanda and the American Legion Auxiliary

Chris and Melinda have a passion for community development and love all of the amazing things that are going on in North Mississippi. This Week: In this episode of Heard It On The Shark, Melinda talks with Jayce Chanda, the American Legion Department of MS Auxiliary President. Jayce gives quite a bit of background on the creation of the Auxiliary Unit and also clarifies the duties, responsibilities of the Auxiliary Jayce and Melinda continue to discuss the activities of the Auxiliary including programs like Project Package that sends care packages to active military stationed overseas, Patriot Paws which trains and provides service animals to disabled veterans at no cost to the veteran, and Final Salute, a program that addresses and supports homeless female veterans.One of the missions of The American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary is to provide support for our veterans and to be an additional family for America's veterans.
