Bad Endings and How Missing 411 is Bunk | County Road 189 S1E3
Welcome to County Road 189, the haunted stretch of road that runs right through the middle of Bearheart Nation! Today, we'll be discussing how a bad ending can ruin a great movie AND how the "Missing 411" phenomenon is complete bunk. So, buckle in, keep your eyes on the road and watch out for ghostly hitchhikers!

Sometimes, horror movies/books/shows have a great premise and start off strong, only to fall short at the finish line. A movie like The Village by M. Night Shyamalan can be set up as a great story, only to have the monsters turn out to be people in costumes (a la Scooby Doo) and the setting being more modern than it pretended. When this happens, the viewer expectation is shattered in the wrong way and the movie winds up being viewed as awful, even though it was the ending that ruined it.

In this episode, I talk about that as well as a show that I had to go on a quest to find the name of. I'll also share 3 of my own stories! "I'm Still Here" focuses on what happens to our conscious mind after we die. "The Lair" is a twist on the park ranger story trope that has become popular in the creepypasta space. "Finding Peace" follows a man who would become a central focus of "Missing 411" if he actually existed.

If you are interested in helping me to accomplish some goals with new and even better content while earning some pretty cool perks, check out my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/joshbearheart

Buy my debut novel The Journal here: https://books2read.com/joshhawk

If you are interested in helping me to accomplish some goals with new and even better content while earning some pretty cool perks, check out my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/joshbearheart

Get some Bearheart Nation MERCH: https://www.josh-bearheart.com/

Referral link to Epidemic Sound:
https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/1xunm9
You get a free month and I get a small amount for sending you over

Socials -
Twitter: twitter.com/joshbearheart
Discord: https://discord.gg/ZUNYm5DUKe
Facebook: facebook.com/joshbearheart
