Breakdown of The Ashes, 3rd Test Day 2 at Headingley. Today was a day that tested the ego of England. Were they going to give into this ideological war and continue hitting out when the series was on the line? The answer was no, Moeen Ali and Ben Stokes attempted to graft with the bat before we got a typical chivalrous, rear-guard action from Ben Stokes with the tail. It kept England in it. Moeen's Ali economy and major wickets of Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne have also kept England in it.
