S1 Ep4: Civic Participation & Serious Youth Violence
Powered By You
Episode 4: Civic Participation & Serious Youth ViolenceGuests: Philipp Leeta and Waleed Mohamed Powered by You is a visual podcast hosted by Zino Khalfaoui where he invites young adults from the local community to discuss the latest hot topics which impact their lives such as health, education, creativity, family life, and physical wellbeing. This podcast will also promote various programmes, raise awareness, and increase civic participation. In this episode, Zino speaks to a Serious Youth Violence Coordinator from RBKC and a young adult who is also a gang’s worker in the local community to get their perception on how civic participation can contribute towards tackling serious youth violence (SYV) in a community setting. With growing concerns around the safety of young people and other residents – this episode will be discussing various ways on how you can play your part in your community by getting integrated and building relationships in order to achieve a safer and thriving neighbourhood. These episodes are also uploaded to the RBKC YouTube channel and also available in Spotify, Google, and Apple Podcasts This project is a partnership between Morley College London and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Socials:Kensington and Chelsea Council
