On this podcast Jimi shares with us some of his and his mother’s history in the blues. Jimi’s mother, Ms Johnnie Mae Dunson Smith was a force on the Chicago blues scene starting in the 1950’s and we play some of the music she created and recorded with major blues legend, Mr Jimmy Reed.
