Hour 1 The Lions upset the Chiefs last night and it was a terrible loss for Kansas City. The main reason they lost is former Giants WR Kadarius Toney. There were some clock management issues for the Chiefs as they went for it on 4th and 25 late with all 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning. Gio does not like the Lions and he’s already sick of the hype around this team. Jerry is here for his first update and has clips of Adam Schein saying how the Chiefs were going to win no problem. Jared Goff and Dan Campbell talked about the big win. Andy Reid is disappointed and Patrick Mahomes said he has not lost faith in Toney after the drops. A college football player had his ear ripped off this past weekend. The Yankees 5-game win streak came to an end against the Tigers. Carlos Rodon said he ‘got his ass whooped’. A protestor glued his feet to the ground at the US Open. In the final segment of the hour, Eddie is not here today because he’s at the Sheep & Fiber Festival with his wife, an independent yarn dyer. Hour 2 Gio does not believe the Cowboys should be favored Sunday night at MetLife Stadium. Boomer said the Giants need to keep Micah Parsons in check if they’re going to win. The Giants need domination from their defensive line and Daniel Jones needs to be throwing for 300 yards a game. We also talked about Eric Bienemy no longer being in KC and what he can do for the Commanders. Boomer wonders if the Saudis will try to start a league to compete against the NFL. Jerry returns for an update and has all the sound from last night’s Lions win over the Chiefs. Kadarius Toney dropped a lot of balls. Patrick Mahomes was embarrassed by the loss. The Cowboys have a hologram Jerry Jones at the stadium. Mark Schlereth is not a fan of Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. In the final segment of the hour, former NY Giant Justin Tuck is in the studio talking Giants/Cowboys and being the Dad of a 13 year old soccer player. Hour 3 Gio loves JustinTuck and said it’s difficult to not like the Giants now. The pundits seemed to like the Lions going into this season and they beat the Chiefs last night so we’re going to get more pundits liking the Lions. Boomer said the pundits also like the Giants and Jets. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Lions beating the Chiefs last night. Aaron Rodgers has a lot of messages for the team that are ‘esoteric in nature’. Jerry has some Mike Tomlin-sims that are favorites of Mike Tomlin himself. The Yankees 5-game win streak came to an end last night. Anthony Rizzo was ejected from the bench for criticizing the umps. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Aaron Rodgers and the Jets in comparison to Tom Brady joining the Bucs and Peyton Manning joining the Broncos. A caller says he once chucked a pretzel at the Jets huddle in 1994. Hour 4 We start the hour with audio from the Jets game where a caller chucked a pretzel at the huddle. A 79 year old man is pissed that Charter Communications and ESPN are still fighting and he can’t watch the Jets on Monday night.
