Lisa Russell has been a leader in the Multi-Family Property & Asset Management industry for over 30 years. Throughout Lisa’s career, she successfully managed over $1B in assets in 20 major markets, led a management company, and developed property management software that sold to Real Page in 2010.Lisa started her career in student housing while completing her degree from the University of Houston, Bachelor of Science - Hotel and Restaurant Management. She worked in the Housing Departments for five major universities before transitioning to new construction, lease-ups and conventional housing. In the 2008 market downturn, a New York investment company recruited Lisa to oversee and recover a $300M portfolio while still managing sites in seven states across the nation. Good that Lisa loves to travel, as she traveled weekly for over nine years.In Lisa’s role as the Chief Operating Officer for a North Carolina management company, Lisa used her industry experience to develop the company’s vision, culture, and infrastructure. For five years, Lisa focused on implementing innovative technology for lead tracking, budgeting, and document management; all while guiding her employees safely through the pandemic.Lisa is actively investing, managing, consulting, educating, and giving back!
