One of those lawmakers is North Carolina Fourth District Congresswoman Valerie Foushee.<br /> Recently NC Newsline caught up with Foushee and got a chance to discuss a number of important bills she’s championing – including the “Freedom to Vote Act” which would set baseline national standards to protect the freedom to vote, counter election denial schemes, end partisan gerrymandering, and help curb big money in politics. Foushee also discussed her ongoing efforts to convince her colleagues in Washington to pass additional gun violence prevention measures.
